  2. I use Notepad++ all day, every day but it’s worth mentioning that some of the plugins no longer work due to not being updated. Luckily, the ones most useful for web dev (CSS Explorer, HTML Tag, Img Tag and Preview) still work fine.

  3. Why do these articles always list plain text editors with just syntax highlightening (like BBC Edit, Brackets and SublimeText…which are not even free, to boot) as full-fledged HTML editors? They are not, they lack too many features real editors have to be considered as such.
    SublimeText for example doesn’t hold a candle to Panic’s Coda or MacRabbit Espresso on Mac and WeBuilder, EditPlus or the above mentioned CodeLobster on Windows, they have too many editing-specifically-geared features compared to SublimeText.
